Three years after the zombie virus has gutted the United States of America a team of everyday heroes must transport the only known survivor of the plague from New York to California, where the last functioning viral lab waits for his blood. It's a great show. Trying to save the world by keeping a jerk alive and getting him to California. The jerk is really good at being a jerk… Some of the lines the actors are given are a bit cheesy and the timing is sometimes a bit off at times between guest characters speeches. I think the dialog writing could be a bit more natural. I really like D J Qualls. He's a doll. His scene looking for people from the bite mark project to get back to him was great. Being from Canada I love the Northern Light station scenes. I like the young couple and the older gentleman. They are pretty cool and good actors. The leaders of the band are very goodwell. Since so far 10,000 hasn't been in much it's hard to tell. Over all I think this show is very entertaining and I'm hoping it continues to be so. There are some unexpected surprises in the show and that is good - like the oil tank. What did Citizen Z name the dog by the way? starting off I am half way through the third season at the time of this review, and I have to say the show is entertaining. both genders are equallybad-ass, and there are cool shots of slow motion kills and pure zombie carnage, but at times it is overdone and the slow motion used too much. The character for the most part are enjoyable to watch, doc with his old timer comments and drug references, 10k with his kill shots, addy much better in the latter season when she becomes more of a bad-ass and less of a helpless girl, and even warren at times is cool. I don't know if it is just bad writing or just a bad delivery, probably both but warrens whole goal is to get murphy across the us to get him into the hands of a doctor that can synthesis a cure for the zombie virus, and while that seems like a good plot point for a season, having her whole character centered around "the mission" which keep in mind, there would be no mission if citizen z didn't tell them about it, is just ridiculous. sure she is a bad-ass when killing zombie, but when she isn't she is a controlling, angry character that seems to fluctuate between periods of high emotion, and periods of emotionless killing. especially in season 3 where murphy just want to be left alone and create his own kingdom, I mean what the hell just give the guy a break he didn't ask to be apart of the blue man group, he just want to enjoy the apocalypse and has the ability to do it, while warren still decides that they need to capture murphy to synthesis a cure even though the CDC is gone and the fake CDC is actually a group of rich people that just want to live forever, and the Chinese/Laos doctor's ship isn't even an option anymore so what is the point. I also don't like how everyone just follows warrens orders no matter what not even questioning if it is the right thing to do, its the blind leading the blind. I hope the characters get more depth and fast because i really enjoy the show, murphy is an ass hole but he's funny, and the episode where doc is in a mental hospital is hilarious, I just wish there were more episodes like that, instead of us always having to follow a moody warren around the apocalypse.
